Clare Aikikai offers beginners to advanced Aikido classes in Liscannor, County Clare, Ireland. Aikido is a natural movement martial art that co-ordinates the mind and body for health, defense and self-development. Aikido also educates and develops character, and fosters a positive attitude and spirit of peace through training in physical and mental self-discipline.

Clare Aikikai Aikido classes are conducted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the National School in Liscannor, County Clare, and beginners may start at any time. These sessions are led by nidan (second degree) Aikido instructor Martin Doyle who has been practicing Aikido with the Irish Aikido Federation since 1987. Clare Aikikai is affiliated to the Irish Aikido Federation which represents the Aikikai Foundation world Aikido headquarters in Japan.
